Bring your own pillowcase, use it as the laundry bag
Pack a pillowcase from home, sleep on it all trip, then fill it with dirty clothes so your laundry never touches the clean side of the suitcase.

You're away from home and two small problems show up on the same trip. The first is the hotel pillow — it's whatever the hotel decided it is. The second arrives around day two, when the dirty clothes start piling up loose in the suitcase, mixed in with everything still clean.
One item solves both. Pack a pillowcase from your own bed.
What you need
- One pillowcase from home (a spare, so the set at home stays intact)
Do this
- Pack a pillowcase in your bag before you leave.
- At the hotel, slip it over the hotel pillow and sleep on your own case all trip.
- As clothes come off dirty, they go into the pillowcase — not back into the suitcase.
- On the last morning, strip the case off the pillow, gather the dirty clothes into it, and knot or roll the open end.
- Pack the bundle in the suitcase. Clean stuff stays clean; the dirty pile is contained in one closed thing.
- Home: the whole bundle goes to the laundry room and the pillowcase gets washed with the load it was carrying.
What changes
You sleep on your own pillowcase, your dirty laundry never touches your clean clothes, and the laundry bag costs nothing extra and takes up no room — because it was already doing another job for six nights.
Gap to fill in the studio: whether a standard pillowcase actually holds a full week of one person's laundry, or whether this tops out around a long weekend. Worth testing before publishing rather than guessing.
